Staples to Sell Dell Products in its Stores

Dell and Staples announced a retail agreement today that would have Staples selling Dell products in its 1400 stores across America. The agreement will have Staples selling Dell notebooks, desktops, monitors, printers and ink in retail stores.

The lack of availability of ink through retailers other than Dell has been one of the few major complains I have had with its printers. Initial products that will be offered in Staples will include Inspiron 1721 and 1521 notebooks, and Inspiron 530 desktops.

Printers that will be sold in stores include the Dell 948 and 926 All-in-one printers, the 1320c laser printer, the Dell SE198WFP 19-inch LCD, E228WFP 22-inch LCD and ink and toner for most Dell printers.
