The silent adapter ground glass vibration mechanism inside the adapter has an on/off switch and is powered by a pair of AA batteries. Several thread sizes are available including 72mm for Canon cameras like the XH-A1 and 82mm threads for Panasonic cameras. A 77mm thread patter is coming for the Sony XDCAM EX. Supported lens mounts include the Canon FD, Nikon FD, Canon EF (EOS) and Pentax K-mount.
