Bang & Olufsen also introduced a new wireless Bluetooth headset called the EarSet 2. The name might not be that exciting, but the headset promises superb comfort and an ergonomic design. The headset can be used with any mobile device with Bluetooth support.
EarSet 2 uses two omni-directional microphones placed 30mm apart along with digital signal processing. The mics block out wind noise and filter external sounds.
Speech quality is supposedly enhanced by the air vents and a bass port for increased tonal precision. When the mic folds out the EarSet 2 turns on and when you fold the mic back up the EarSet 2 turns off to save battery life. The device charges and is stored in a container that serves as the charger. Pricing for the EarSet 2 is expensive, as you would expect from Bang & Olufsen at $350.
