The Asus Eee PC 4G is available at retail in the United States since this week and more review of the highly anticipated mini Linux notebook appear. Now Hothardware published an excellent review with interesting performance tests and dissected Eee PC photos (see also this Asus Eee PC dissection report).

Quote from the review: "This full evaluation shows the Eee PC is built on Intel mobile Celeron technology and the 910GML Express chipset. Power consumption was measured at a miserly 15 Watts idle and 18 Watts under load with battery life in excess of three hours. There is also an abundance of software pre-installed on the machine, like Open Office applications, Skype and Pigeon, which will add to the systems overall value."

The Asus Eee PC 4G is selling from J&R and NewEgg.
