InFocus Play Big IN1 Gaming Projector

Infocus announced its latest projector today called the Play Big IN1 Gaming Projector. You might guess from the name of the product that it is aimed at gamers using console systems like the Nintendo Wii, Xbox, and PlayStation.

The projector is optimized for gaming, but features S-video, component and composite inputs that allow connection to other sources like cable TV boxes and DVD players. The projector is capable of producing images up to 8-feet.

The projector uses DLP technology and has a built-in amplifier and two speakers for big explosions and good sound. The projector can handle resolutions of 480i, 576i, 720p, and 1080i. The brightness is 500 lumens max and the contrast ratio is 1500:1. To get the largest image, the projector has to be 8 meters from the screen or wall. This projector is exclusively sold through Woot for $499.99 and is available today.
