The talking parrot with remote control is part of the Hasbro FurReal Friends line. Last year the FurReal pony was a hot seller, this year the parrot seems to be taking it's place.
The Squawkers McCaw parrot is able to repeat words you tell him, like a real parrot - only the toy robot learns faster. Real parrots pull your last nerve not learning what you actually want to teach them. I know what I am talking about, my parents have a parrot they got when we were kids, and the only damn word he says is Chocolate.
Squawkers McCaw can also respond to preprogrammed phrases, such as “Hello” and “Are you hungry?”, with his own phrases.
You can also teach him voice commands to have him respond to certain words with defined phrases. In dance mode, the FurReal Parrot will dance to any music played. See the video on Amazon.com to see the parrot in action.
Amazon.com sells the Squawkers McCaw Parrot for $49.97.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
