Apple released the new iPhone firmware 1.1.2 last Friday. By Sunday the jailbreak for the latest firmware was already available.
Now you can run custom applications again on the new iPhone firmware, but it is still locked on the latest firmware. The jailbreak for 1.1.2 also just works on iTunes activated iPhones.
