Lots of people actually wanted to see Al Gore run for President again. In somewhat surprising news Al Gore is joining Venture Capitalist firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers as partner.
Al Gore will of course focus on alternative energy investments. Al Gore is joining the KPCB board as part of a collaboration between his London-based Generation Investment Management fund and Kleiner to fund so-called "green" business, technology and policies that address global climate change.
