Sony released a new firmware update for the Sony PS3. The PS3 firmware 2.01 fixes a couple issues and improves the remote boot that was introduced in firmware 2.0.
Sony PS3 firmware 2.01 improves stability of PS3 standard software and internet and information boards. The new update also improves some PS2 game stability issues (only for PS2 compatible PS3 consoles).
The new 2.01 firmware also changes the remote boot via PSP over the internet feature. I had some weird effects using remote on/off of the PS3, maybe it works more predictably now.
