Two Taiwan based sellers offer the green Asus Eee PC 4G (4G SSD and 512MB RAM) on the German eBay.
In Germany eBay is currently the only way to get an Asus Eee PC 4G (import models), as all stores that list it have no inventory. The ones that state a shipping date say that the Asus Eee PC will ship in January of 2008. This is a very disappointing situation, especially since Asus had such a big Asus Eee PC launch a couple weeks ago in Germany. It looks like Asus cannot keep up with the world-wide demand for the Eee PC.
The top of the line Asus Eee 8G has appeared for pre-order on the Chinese, Korean, Japanese Hong Kong Expansys stores. The listed 8G is apparently for the Hong Kong market and comes with a UK power plug, English OS and Hong Kong warranty. The price for the 8G is HK$2,980 (~$383). No shipping date is given and the description does not match the 8G model. So there is no hint yet whether or not the Asus 8G will have a 10 inch screen or not.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
