It looks like the market for export Sony PSP stabilized a bit since beginning of this week, if you could call it that.
Lik-Sang has 200 Sony PSP currently in stock and has already shipped all PSPs to game fans that pre-ordered it. The price for a Sony PSP Value Pack on Lik-Sang is currently $529. Compared to offers on eBay this is a good price. Although this price is still more than double the price Japanese consumers pay in stores.
Update 12/16/04 10:40am EST:
Well that is it. The 200 PSP from Lik-Sang are gone again. You need to be quicker if you wanted one.

Update 12/16/04 11:00am EST:
I4U Reader Chester just emailed us that Play-Asia is shipping Sony PSP bundled with Ridge Racer. The Sony PSP and Ridge Racer sell for $579.00. The PSP-1000K Value-Pack with Ridge Racer sells for $629.00.
The Sony PSP is apparently also selling even pretty well in China - unoffically of course like everwhere else outside of Japan. Interfax reports that Chinese PSP fans pay a minimum of $408 to get one. That is quite a bit cheaper than Sony PSP offers on eBay. Also it looks the prices on eBay for the PSP have come down a bit from the beginning of the week as the amount of PSP offers increased.
