HTC Touch HD rumored to be next Android Phone T-Mobile G2

The HTC Touch HD has many, including me, already excited as it features this amazing 3.8 inch screen with 800x480px resolution. A rumor sprung up that HTC is working to bring Android onto the HTC Touch HD.
Android fans already named the rumored phone T-Mobile G2. For early adopters the HTC Touch HD would be a boon, as it outperforms the iPhone 3G in all dimensions. Besides the screen the HTC Touch HD features a 5MP camera, 2nd VGA camera, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
HTC managed to keep the HTC Touch HD very compact with measurements of 115x62.8x12mm. More HTC Touch HD specifications can be found in this earlier report.
The HTC Touch HD is slated to be available in Europe still this year. For the U.S. it will not be shipping at all in this version.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
