ThinkGeek has an interesting DIY straw making kit called DIY Drinking Strawz. The kit includes 44 dishwasher safe pieces. Included are 20 flexible rubber connectors and 16 translucent strap pieces.
Twelve of the straw pieces are 5-inches long and 12 of them are 2.875-inch Strawz pieces. No that’s not a typo, that is what the description at ThinkGeek says and the numbers don’t add up. The price for the kit is $9.99.
