On Saturday we reported that Amazon UK has pulled the Sony PSP product page after it appeared Friday. Now the Sony PSP is again available for pre-order at Amazon UK. The shipping date is still March 18th 2005 and the price is also still the high £179.99 (~$335).
I am not sure if the disclaimer was there before:
Quote: "Please note: the release date and final UK launch details for the PSP console have not yet been confirmed. This information may therefore be subject to change."
Again the scary question is if the high price in the UK for the Sony PSP is an indication for the US price or not. Sony originally announced a price of about $195 for the Japanese market. Sony did not make any official statements on the US price and launch date of their new portable game console. At the CES 2005 Sony hinted on a March launch.
