Samsung has told Dealerscope that the player is on track to reach market in mid-December. Dealerscope says the representative for Samsung added that the player is shipping as we speak and you will see it at retailers later this month.
Samsung also says the price of the player has been reduced from the $999 figure originally reported to a new price of $799. The Amazon.com page for the player still says that it will be available on January 15th, but you can preorder now. Someone might want to remind Samsung that mid-December is next week.
