UK's Goldstriker announces the platinum Apple iPhone to be released in January in a limited edition.

The worlds 1st Apple iPhone Platinum Edition will be released as a 250 limited edition for £1,099.95 (~$2,230).
We already reported that Goldstriker is focusing now on platinum gadgets, after they have gold plated iPhones and iPods.
Goldstriker will also offer the B&O Beocom in Platinum in January. Price for that one is going to be £999.95.
