Low-cost hardware company Everex is bringing the 7 inch VIA nanobook as Everex Cloudbook to the market.

Apparently Everex will ship the Cloudbook with the Google powered gOS, they already ship on the $199 Linux PC.
The first Everex Cloudbook is supposed to feature a Via C7 ULV 1.2GHz CPU, 30GB HDD and 1.2MP camera.The Everex Cloudbook is supposed to be available in mid-January 2008 for $400. Everex will most likely present the Cloudbook at the CES 2008.

Most of the information is not official and has been disclosed by a soure to LinuxDevices. We already reported that Everex plans to release Linux Notebooks for under $300 in 2008.

It is already clear that 2008 will see tons of 7 and 10 inch low-cost Linux powered notebooks. Asus just created a new market with the Asus Eee PC.
