New iRiver H10 5GB MP3 Player is Shipping!

Amazon.com is already shipping the new iRiver H10 5GB MP3 Player.

Right now only the Charcoal (Lounge Gray) colored iRiver H10 is shipping within 24 hours on Amazon.com. The red, blue and silver are not on shipping yet and there is no information when they will. The iRiver H10 is selling for $279.99.
The H10 measures 95.5 x 54.6 x 15mm and weighs 96.2g. Compared to that the iPod mini measures 91.4 x 50.8 x 12.7 mm and weighs 102g. The iRiver H10 is also slightly bigger but a bit lighter and is featuring a color screen and 1GB more storage.

Apple is really letting iRiver get ahead of the game with the H10 by not releasing a new iPod mini that matches the feature set of the H10. On the other hand I am wondering why iRiver is not using the chance and get some more market share by pricing the H10 lower than the iPod mini. Right now it is even higher than the iPod mini. That is a not very aggressive move.
