Nero 8 is now certified for authoring and playback of Blu-Ray Disc video titles and supports advanced interactive features on Blu-Ray and HD DVD movies.
This update also adds the ability to burn HD DVD video onto standard DVD-R/RW discs. Camcorders that record in AVCHD format don’t have to go though encoding, Nero 8 supports the format with SmartEncoding now eliminating that step.
