Because the Asus Eee hardware is rather cheap it invites talented people to hack it and modify it. The coolest modification I have seen so far is the replacement of the 7 inch LCD screen with a touch screen from a car entertainment system from the guy at jkkmobile.
The hacked Asus Eee PC runs Windows XP and the touch screen looks like it works perfectly. See a video of the Asus Eee PC with Touchscreen in action below.
jkkmobile will soon publish the instructions on how to make an Asus Eee a touch screen enabled notebook.
