HannStar Display apparently plans to launch a Hanns.G branded low-price notebook in 2008.
Taiwanese HannStar is known for their fun LCD TVs.
HannStar already offers Hanns.G branded LCD monitors.
The low-cost notebook market could be huge next year. The movement is lead by Asus and Everex, which offer low-cost Linux notebooks.
