CNET's Daniel Terdiman personally confirmed that in the greater San Francisco area there are no Nintendo Wii consoles to be found in stores. He drove 62 miles to find that very surprising result.
Most stores got their last Wii batch last Sunday. They all sold out within 1 hour of arrival.
Tomorrow Gamestop is offering the Wii Certificate Program, where you can buy a Wii for $250, that will be available for pick-up on January 25th.
You can still find over-priced Wii consoles on Amazon.com and on eBay.com.
