If you are wondering how the ZR1 will differ from the Z06 the answer is considerable. The ZR1 will get its power from a supercharged LS9 engine displacing 6.2L rated at 620HP and 595 lb-ft of torque.
GM expects the 2009 ZR1 to be the first production corvette ever to have a top speed of at least 200mph. There is no word on the pricing for the 2009 ZR1, but it won’t be cheap.
