Microsoft founder Bill Gates invested $392 million into purchasing a stake in Mexican brewery Femsa.
Femsa, also known as Fomento Economico Mexicano, is based in the northern city of Monterrey and has a history going back to 1890.
Femsa's Mexican beer brands include, Sol (I like that one a lot), Tecate, Superior, and Kaiser.
Femsa is not a romantic Mexican beer brewer, they are also big in soft drinks.
Bill Gates's investment is surely driven by return and not by beer taste.
