Swedish Neonode announces at the CES 2008 that they will launch their Neonode N2 mobile phone to the U.S. market in 2008.
The tiny touch screen smart phone is very interesting as long as Apple is not offering an iPhone nano. Neonode introduced the Neonode N2 in February 2007 in Europe. The Neonode N2 runs the proprietary neno user interface and features the so called zForce optical touch screen technology.
Other features of the Neonode N2 include 2 inch screen, 2MP camera, MP3 player, MiniSD card slot, Bluetooth and GSM Quad band connectivity.
The real strength of this touchscreen phone is its small size of 47x77x14.7mm.
The Neonode N2's United States phone carrier and retail availability will be announced the second quarter 2008. Neonode will be showcasing Neonode N2 mobile phone at the CES 2008, I assume they plan to actually make the carrier deals at the show.

CES 2008 will start on January 7th, but the new product announcements are already pouring in.
