WowWee introduces the Tribot at the CES 2008. We already have seen the Tribot in the wild at the CES Unveiled show.
The WowWee Tribot is the newest incarnation of the already legendary Robosapien.
A three-wheeled personality-packed companion, the Tribot robot is equipped with different play modes for hours of entertainment – joke telling, story sequences, games and more. Complete with distinct expressions and animated eyebrows, the Tribot robot features an omni-directional motion easily controlled by a tilt sensor remote control.
Other features of the WowWee Tribot include motion sensitive controller (no need to hack the Wiimote anymore for robot control), alarm clock, 3 motors, 3 IR sensors, built-in speaker and requires 8 AA batteries.
The WowWee Tribot has an MSRP of $99.99 and will go on sale this Summer.
For me the Tribot is not really that exciting. So far the new Rovio is the hottest new WowWee robot.
CES 2008 will start officially on January 7th, but the first event is already on Saturday. We are in Las Vegas and will be covering the CES 2008 first hand.
