Motorola introduced two new W series GSM handsets at the CES 2008 with the W230 and W270.
The new W230 and W270 handsets offer easy-to-use music capabilities, expandable memory with optional microSD card, clear audio in noisy environments and a simplified interface for text messaging.
The Motorola W270 is a clamshell phone featuring a 1.6 inch display FM radio with RDS. Measurements are 45mm x 95mm x 17 mm and the weight is 88-94g.
The Motorola W230 (photo) features 9 hours of talk time, measures 45 x 110.97 x 14.7 mm and weighs 80g.
The W230 and W270 handsets are expected to become available in Q1 2008.
