The Philips 42PFL5603D Eco TV wins CNET's Best in Show award at the CES 2008.
"Our editors were so impressed with the number of innovative products that were launched at the show, but in the end they awarded the Philips 42PFL5603D Eco TV as the Best in Show," said Jai Singh, editor-in-chief and vice president of CNET. "With its power saving features, the Philips 42PFL5603D Eco TV showed us that a TV manufacturer could embrace 'green tech' in a way that benefits the eco-conscious and those who just want to save money."
Saving energy and making a 'green gadget' is a noble cause, but for me the Philips Eco TV is not a best of CES 2008. We will publish our best of CES 2008 after the show is over, but aspiring products for the I4U Best of CES title are Panasonic 150 inch Plasma, Pioneer 9mm 50 inch TV, Samsung 31 inch OLED TV, Alienware curved DLP Display, LimePC, and Mitsubishi Laser TV.
The CNET People's Voice award goes to the Motorola Rokr E8, Who are those People? Have they seen any CES 2008 coverage?
