Nintendo announces Wii and DS Game Line-up for 2008

In case you got lucky enough to get a Nintendo Wii in your house Nintendo likes to inform you what games you can expect in stores soon.

The Wii is still not available online at the suggested MSRP of $249. The prices on eBay and Amazon.com third party offers have come down to slightly under $400.
I wonder how long it will take Nintendo to finally catch up with demand.

In the first half of 2008, more than 65 new Wii games will be added to the current library of more than 195 and 80 new Nintendo DS games will be added to the current library of nearly 500.

The highlights for the Wii include Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii (I will get this one for sure!), and Wii Fit.

See the complete Wii game and DS game releases for 2008 below.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
