Earlier this week at MacWorld Apple announced the new super thin MacBook Air notebook computer. Belkin today announced it has a line of four sleeves to protect the tiny notebook.

The options include a Vertical Sleeve with a strap that can be carried in the arms or on the shoulder for $49.99, Neoprene Sleeve for $49.99, Leather Neoprene Sleeve for $49.99, and a Slim Fit Sleeve for $39.99.

The neoprene sleeves will be available in March 2008. The other sleeves won’t be available until May of 2008. Chris McGugan, Vice President of Product Management for Belkin International, Inc says, “Building off our strength in the iPod accessories category, we are extending this asset to create accessories for the MacBook Air that is stylish, well-designed, and easy to use. In respecting the thinness of the MacBook Air, we've designed our sleeves to complement it by keeping a similarly slim profile.”
