Scientists at the Oklahoma State University and DARPA are working on tiny unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that fit in soldiers pockets.
The tiny flying objects would be powered by plasma thrusters without any moving parts.
The tiny jets would take over surveillance of hostile areas.
Sounds pretty Sci-fi to me, but hey, you need something to keep your students motivated.
