Sony announces that it is releasing several MTV series on the UMD format for the Sony PSP.
The new UMD line-up includes Jackass, Beavis & Butt-head, Wildboyz, Viva La Bam and Aeon Flux.
The new UMDs geared towards the MTV generation which should own a PSP are priced at $14.99.
The install base of the Sony PSP has now reached more than 10 million users in North America. Sony sold 1.4 million PSP consoles over the holidays. So it makes sense to try to make the video and movie offering for the PSP more attractive again.
