Panasonic is about to introduce their new cameras for the PMA 08 trade-show in Vegas. Engadget just reported that the Panasonic PR RSS feed is already revealing the headlines, but the full press-releases are not published yet. On the Panasonic UK site the LUMIX DMC-FS3 camera announcement is already online though.
The new 8.1MP Lumix DMC-FS3 comes with a f2.8 Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens with 3x optical zoom.
Other features of the Lumix DMC-FS3 include Mega O.I.S., Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector, Face Detection, and Quick AF functions, sensitivity up to ISO 6400, 2.5 inch screen and 21 scene modes.
There is no pricing and release date information available yet. Hi-res photos are not available yet either.
Via the Panasonic UK site. More Panasonic cameras to be announced today include the Lumix FX35, new Lumix LZ-Series, new FS-Series cameras, and new cameras in the existing TZ-Series.
