JVC's New MiniDV Camcorders- GR-D870 and GR-D850

JVC announced a pair of new MiniDV camcorders today called the GR-D870 and the GR-D850. These two camcorders both feature 35x optical zoom lenses and 2.7-inch LCD displays along with automatic backlight control.

The D870 has dual recording with Live Slow feature. This feature allows users to shoot still images and video at the same time. The Live Slow feature allows for slow motion video with audio commentary at the same time.

The difference between the two cameras is the Live Slow and dual recording, which the D850 lacks. Both cameras are set for availability this month with the D850 selling for $229.95 and the D870 going for $249.95.
