Eight of the Sega releases are based on new intellectual properties. Other key findings in the reports are that Wii support levels seen in Christmas aren’t continuing into 2008.
That means that buyers are more evenly purchasing other game consoles in addition to the Wii. Whether or not that could be caused by the low availability of Wii consoles is unknown. The report also shows that American and British game developers put out the most titles for consoles.
