Toshiba announced today that it has added the Intel 45nm processors to its Satellite X205-SLI notebook computer. The X205 still uses a pair of NVIDIA 8600M GT graphics cards in SLI and has optional dual hard drives.
The hard drives are full 7200 rpm units for faster access time. The notebook also incorporates Toshiba’s HD DVD drive for watching HD movies. Buyers can also get five free HD DVD films with the purchase of the X205-SLI notebook.
A well equipped X205-SLI retails for $2499.99 with Vista Ultimate, Intel Core 2 Duo T8100, 3072 MB of RAM, a pair of 320GB hard drives and dual 8600M GT graphics. The display is a 17-inch 1680x1050 resolution unit.
