The T-Mobile G1 is the first Google Android phone, but that doesn't mean that there will be plenty more in 2009. BusinessWeek reports about Motorola's efforts to release an Android smartphone in 2009. With the rumored Q2 release Motorola will most likely be rather late with their Android phone.
Motorola has apparently been showing specification sheets and images of the Android phone to carriers over the last 2 months (c'mon! Somebody leak it already).
The Motorola Android phone would focus on social networking applications like Facebook and MySpace.
