Sony Ericsson launches its first Windows Mobile smartphone with the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.
The XPERIA X1 is a cool looking arc slider phone with integrated QWERTY keyboard and 3 inch W-VGA (800x480px) touchscreen.
Sony Ericsson tries to catch up with the Apple iPhone interface with their new panel interface. Additionally the XPERIA™ X1 lets you interact in four different ways: Touch, full QWERTY keyboard, 4-way key and optical joystick.
Other features of the XPERIA X1 include HSDPA, Wifi, 3.2MP camera, aGPS, Bluetooth, FM radio, music player, video player, 400MB internal memory, and microSD card slot.
Sony Ericsson managed to keep the size of their first Windows smartphone fairly small with 110x53x16.7mm. The weight of the XPERIA X1 is 145g.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will be available in selected markets from the second half of 2008.
