Sony Ericsson introduced the XPERIA X1 Windows Mobile smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona. The new XPERIA brand gets the same special treatment as the Sony BRAVIA brand with a very cool commercial.
The XPERIA Ad features colorful paper planes flying through a city. In the video you can see the new Sony Ericsson animated Panel Interface in action.
The design of the XPERIA X1 and the feature-set has what it takes to tackle the iPhone. Only problem with it is that the release date is in the 2nd half of 2008. Until then Apple sure has yet again released a way cooler iPhone.
See the XPERIA video in hi-res at this Sony XPERIA mini-site (X1 film). More details about the XPERIA X1.
