The most money ever paid for a car license plate is for the number 1 in the United Arab Emirates.
Businessman Said Abdul Ghafour Khouri paid $14.3m in an auction for the 1.
Vanity plates are really hot in the Persian gulf nations. Previously the number 5 was the most expensive license plate with $6.8m.
The money from the license plate auctions go to charity.
