Sony announced a pair of new navigation devices today called the NV-U73T and the NV-U83T. Both of the devices are available now online and in retail stores for $300 and $400 respectively. Both devices offer text-to-speech voice commands and real-time traffic capability.

Suction cup mounts are included with both devices and use new super suction cup design that provides a tighter attachment. The suction cup is soft enough to attach the devices directly to the dash of the car rather than the window for easier use of the touch screen.

The U83T adds Bluetooth technology to the feature list for hands free phone calls. A mic allows drivers with compatible phones to initiate calls as well. The screen is 4.8-inches and features anti-glare coating. POSITION Plus helps keep drivers on the right track when the signal is weak with an accelerometer and gyro.
