"Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red 2GB 800MHz modules are designed to impress both inside and out," said Jeremy Mortenson, Lexar Media's DRAM Product Marketing Manager. "Hiding beneath the attractive casing is our award-winning Crucial Ballistix 800MHz memory, which maximizes performance through high speeds and low latencies. Plus, they are available in our highest capacity modules to date."
The Ballistix modules offer timings of 4-4-4-12 and are available immediately. This red RAM will probably appeal most to the case modders and those with side windows on their systems. The RAM offers no improved performance over Crucial's current products, just a new snazzy color.
