Germany's largest daily tabloid Bild runs a story today titled: Prostitute Shortage during CeBIT.
Apparently 2,000 additional prostitutes are in Hannover during the technology trade-show starting on March 4th.
The brothels actually would like to hire more but do not have the space.
Apparently CeBit is every year a huge business for the red light business in Hannover. So the hard working tech crowd from all around the world like to wind down with some ladies after a long day at the CeBit show floor.
There is sure a lot of naughty stuff going on during CES in Las Vegas, but there it is just business as usual - and what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Not sure if the same is true for Hannover.
More details on Bild (German).
