We had a swimming pool when I was young and one of the worst things about summer to me was having to clean the pool. Thankfully, iRobot has a new line of pool cleaning robots to make that a non-issue for people this summer.

The Verro line of pool cleaning robots has been expanded with two additional models—the Verro 500 and Verro 100. The Verro 100 is designed to clean above ground pools and the Verro 500 is designed for in-ground pools.

The Verro 100 robot will sell for $399 and the Verro 500 will retail for $999. "A desire to build on iRobot's heritage of practical and easy-to-use indoor/outdoor home helper robots was the impetus for expanding the popular Verro line," said Sandra Lawrence, president and general manager of iRobot Home Robots. "As the swimming pool season kicks off in much of the country, we wanted to provide the best solutions for pool maintenance that enable pool owners to spend their leisure time enjoying their pool, rather than cleaning it."
