We reported about the Xbox 360 price-cut rumor published by Financial Times Germany yesterday. Now the substancial Xbox 360 price-cut is official. The Xbox 360 Arcade will sell for only 199,99 Euro starting this Friday, March 14th in Europe.
Microsoft lowers the price of the entry-level Xbox 360 by 80 Euro, making it about 50 Euro cheaper than the Nintendo Wii.
The Xbox 360 with 20GB HDD is also now selling for a lower 269 Euro and the Xbox 360 Elite is selling for 369 Euro.
I am really excited to see if this will spur Xbox 360 sales in Europe.
There is still now word on if Microsoft is cutting the Xbox 360 prices in the United States as well.
