Samsung Launches 53 Series LCDs

Samsung announced a new line of PC LCDs today with what it bills as high-end contemporary monitors. The line includes the 953BW, 2053BW, 2253LW, and 2253BW. All four share many of the same features and the same crystal edge, glossy black finish.

The displays have a 2ms response time, 8000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and use MagicColor intelligent color control. The displays can be adjusted via the mouse and keyboard rather than cumbersome OSD buttons. Connectivity for the monitors is DVI with HDCP. Pricing for the monitors is $239 for the 953BW, $299 for the 2053BW, $319 for the 2253LW, and $349 for the 2253BW.
