To mark the launch of the first Guinness World Records: Gamer's Edition 2008 book the best players of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock gathered in New York City to break some records.
Chris Chike, age 16 from Rochester, Minnesota, walked away with a new Guinness World Record for the "Highest Score for a Single Song on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock" 840,647 points (a 97% completion on Expert Level) for the song "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce.
I do not play Guitar Hero III, so I cannot say how hard it is to get that score, but maybe Chris should learn to play a real guitar, I see some talent there.
For more gaming records see the Guinness World Records: Gamer's Edition 2008 site.
