2K Play announced a couple of new versions of its Carnival Games franchise for Nintendo game systems today. The two new games include Carnival Games for the Nintendo DS, which will ship this summer. The other game is Carnival Games: Mini-golf for the Wii.

The Wii title will ship this fall. "The success of Carnival Games is proof that the casual game market continues to grow," said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. "We are actively working to expand the 2K Play label and are committed to producing fun, quality games for the mass market with the Carnival Games franchise paving the way."

The Wii game will feature theme park style mini-golf from the Wild West to dinosaurs and takes advantage of the Wii remote. Any fan of Wii Sports Golf will see the potential for fun in this game. The DS game includes Alley Ball, Frog Leap, Dunk Tank, RC Raceway and Clown hammer.
