The Sony MDR-NC500D promises to cancel 99% of ambient noise.
Sony says that the MDR-NC500D is the first to use digital technology to remove ambient noise.
The new Sony noise canceling headset weighs 195g and offers 16 hours on its integrated rechargeable batteries.
The Sony MDR-NC500D will start selling on April 21st for 49,350 yen (~$492). Japanese gadget exporter Audio Cubes should have them available for international customers as soon as they are available in Japan.
