I love wine. It is not always easy though to get my hands on affordable and excellent wines from smaller wineries. A new start-up called RadCru is now connecting wine lovers with small wineries and making it a good deal for both sides.
RadCru offers everyday (during the beta phase, it is only offering 3 wines per week) a new wine from a selected winery with a special price. Today it is a 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate from the Graeser Winery.RadCru has partnered with the Inertia Beverage Group (press-release), which represents about 265 wineries. More details on the RadCru site.
Talking to a RadCru representative, he told me that their service is already a hit amongst Google employees. Nobody from Microsoft ordered yet. Is that telling us something about the differences in corporate culture? I guess it is to early to tell.
The one deal a day pioneer Woot also opened a wine deal per day recently. Their focus is not on small wineries though.
